Fillings
A filling repairs a cavity. Dr. Di Lisio removes the decayed part of the tooth and fills the space so the tooth is sealed and strong again.
Crowns
A crown is a cap that covers a tooth that is cracked, badly worn, or weakened by a large filling or a root canal. It protects what is left of the tooth and restores its shape.
Conservative care
Patients often tell us they appreciate that Dr. Di Lisio doesn't rush to treat. When a spot can safely be watched instead of filled, she will tell you, and check it again at your next visit.

Will I be numb?
Yes, for most fillings and crowns the area is numbed first so you stay comfortable.
Do I need a crown after a root canal?
Often, but not always. Dr. Di Lisio will explain what your tooth needs.
