Tender gums
Gums may be sore and bleed a little for a few days. Rinsing with warm salt water (about half a teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water) a few times a day can soothe them.
Sensitivity
Teeth may be sensitive to hot and cold for a while as the gums heal. A toothpaste for sensitive teeth can help.
Keep cleaning
Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and keep flossing every day. Clean gums heal best.
Follow-up
Keep your follow-up visits so we can check that your gums are healing.

Bleeding doesn't slow down, swelling increases, or you develop a fever.
